    I use this for work as liquid waterproofing is heavily dependant on substrate temperature.This is spot on and I have tested it against my thermal camera and the temperature reading is spot onIt says not for human but it detects under tounge and fothead for a quick test against covid19.It is perfect and comes with a 9v battery.

    The build quality is a little lower than more expensive makes but perfectly adequate.It works well and does what it is supposed to do.I am happy with the purchase and would recommend as an inexpensive point and shoot thermometer.

    Works on humans ???? Out by 0.4 so not as accurate.

    seems to be accurate +- 1.5C but difficult to know. As it clearly says not accurate enough for human temperature measurement but fine for most else.

    I was so happy I found this thermometer!! I used it to determine the temperature of our new pier which was advertised as one that would not burn your feet in the summer. We registered temps over 140” and we were able to exchange our pier tops with no questions or hassle after asking the pier maker to purchase this same thermometer and do their own experiment. 🙂 Thank you for providing a great product!
