    Before I bought this I didn’t realise that I would need to multiply the results on the screen by the emissivity to get the proper result. Basically different types and colours of surface measure as different temperatures to an infrared sensor because that’s physics! There’s a handy booklet to tell you but a laminated card would be much more useful.
