    I installed a Chinese Diesel Heater in my garage workshop and wanted to make sure there were no issues with the exhaust pipe getting too hot. The exhaust was well over 400 F so I wrapped it with fiberglass heat tape and it keeps the temp down to around 225 F. I also have been able to find air leaks all around the house.

    The laser dot shows what you are measuring and the reading changes a lot as you move this from. say. a window to a wall..Used one to balance all the radiators in the house so they all had the same temperature in the middle of each radiator (within 2 degrees centigrade) which took about an hour but was actually quite good fun.
