Cheap. easy to use and gets you a temperature reading in the ballpark. depending on what you’re using it for. I used this to measure the temp of the contents of a slow cooker whose settings are just “high” “low” or “warm.” I did measure other objects indoors and outdoors whose temperatures I was pretty sure about. and this came pretty close every time. So I’m confident in its relative accuracy.
