      The cable arrived on time and it does the job. I got it to connect a 2nd screen to my laptop as I’m currently working from home and so far the picture quality is as expected and I’ve not had any issues with the connection. Note – I connected it using the HDMI port on laptop and the DVI port on my monitor.

      I have an HP desktop that came with two DVI ports and no HDMI or VGA port which meant I would have to buy a new monitor. Looking on I found this adapter that fit the DVI on computer and HDMI to connect to my existing monitor. Images are sharp and for under $20 I am able to use the computer that sat in the box for months. I recommend when purchasing one to be specific about which end is at the computer and which end you need for the monitor. I previously bought one that was not bi-directional and would not work with my monitor.
