      I used this to run my iMac (late 2015) to a TV and it works great. My computer actually calls he output a Thunderbolt 2 but it works perfectly with this Mini Display port. My hubby made a walking desk platform for me (we already owned a treadmill and he built on a desk to it) so I’m using the TV as my computer monitor with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I initially tried using Airplay with an Apple TV to connect the TV but it was miserably delayed. With the cable I see everything in real time. (And by the way if anyone else is doing this kind of thing even thought the mouse is actually about 30 degrees angled and over 5′ from the computer it works perfectly!)

      Needed a new cable to support 4k monitor and it does the job. However my monitor keeps prompting me to use only the supplied cables but clearly there wasn’t one of this prompting a buy so makes me a little circumspect about this cable and deducting 1 star for the same.No concerns with the 4k support so far
