sound and video perfect on my 2010 macbook running osx 10.12.6.
Jim Schuuz –
Not overly heavy to cause problems connecting to the Mini DP side and small enough in profile to be able to connect multiple cables side-by-side.

This is a well made cable and will transmit 4K at 60hz no problem however it will NOT do 4K 60Hz 1012-bit colour depth (for professional workstation monitors) as I don”t believe HDMI 2.0 has enough bandwidth for this task. As long as you do not need 1012-bit colour depth (you also need a monitor and graphics card that is 10-bit capable) you will be fine.If you do require 4K 60Hz at 10-bit you will need a ”display port” cable instead (beware of lengths over 2 metres).

This cable seems very good. Only had it a couple of days but works fine and looks to be well constructed. Comes with a lifetime warranty which is good also.
