I was using a mini-DP to HDMI converter that was bulky and yielded unreliable 4K resolution. Connected this cable directly to the laptop and it’s displaying 4K resolution to the TV each and every time. My only negative is that the HDMI end is a little loose so if I move the TV in and out of the wall the picture will drop off a bit. Price difference between 6 ft and 10 ft is negligible so go big or go home!

While the mini DP need a little extra push to get it into the port the connection to the HDMI connects my laptop to my TV very well after a few days of use. Happy with the product so far.

I wanted to hook up an external monitor to my old macbook and this did the trick. The fit is a little snug but I’d rather have that than it being too loose.
