4K resolution for real! If you have a Thunderbolt port and you want 4K you need this. It is a fraction of the Apple price and it works. Connected my mid-2014 MacBook Pro via HDMI-to-HDMI and could not figure out why my Samsung UHD TV was still showing a poor picture. The answer: 4K can only come from the Thunderbolt-to-HDMI cable and WOW!

I bought this product for using the mini DP port from the adaptor of my MacBook air 2018 but it didn’t work. I think that is the problem for the adaptor because I think it can only convert once such as from USB type c to mini DP or HDMI but it cannot convert from USB C to mini DP then to HDMI. however the cable itself is pretty because i tried the cable on the surface pro because there is a mini DP port right on the side of that computer and it worked. If there is an HDMI output on the adaptor an HDMI cable can solve the problem. This could be some minor thing noticeable if you are interested in buying this cable.
