    Perfect size for my old double sink. I use a dishpan so I have no need to stopper the opening. but the other strainers I have used let too much garbage down the drain. They either had holes that were too large or they were too light and popped out when I emptied the pan. Result was water backed up in the second sink. clogged pipes that had to be plunged several times a week and overuse of Drano..Enter these little beauties. I am amazed at everything they catch. no wonder my pipes were clogged! I do have to clear them out by hand as water drains. but I have been trying to clean the wire type for years. and this is so much easier. No plunging or Drano for the two months I have used them. I feel a bit silly. but these are at the top of my list of best discoveries.
