I like the stainless steel ones.. I had plastic which plastic absorbs germs along with everything else!.It’s wise to have a strainer because if not. food is slipping down the drain..

I have a double sink in my kitchen–disposer on one side. drain on the other. I added two of these to of these and now kitchen duties are easier. I can throw whatever I want in the sink and I don’t have to worry about the wrong thing going down the drain or into the disposer. Clean up is faster. I dump one strainer into the other then tap the second on the edge of the garbage can. All good..A quick point of information here–my strainers are all stainless steel. I got out a strong magnet and it wouldn’t attract the strainers at all. They will never rust..I’m going to miss having to snake these drains twice a year…NOT! And I’ve probably bought my last disposer..You can’t go wrong here. folks.

This sink strainer fits so that nothing gets under the rim when it’s placed over in the drain. It also doesn’t start to discolor quickly like the mesh ones do. I’m still using the first one in the pack. It’s the best one I’ve used.
