      Basic 5-sided protection with open screen and raised edge around screen protects agains 99% of drops without bulk of a full-enclosure case whose face gets scratched and can’t be replaced. Order a screen protector film and use that (and replace about once a year as it gets scratched).Clear back is a twist that shows off the phone but has been a bit confusing on my black phone since the blank screen and shiny clear back look very similar and I don’t immediately know which way is up when I pick up my phone. This would not apply for any phone color other than black.
