The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort (DP/DP ) enabled computer to an HDTV, monitor, and projector with HDMI input for audio and video streaming. (Note: NOT bi-directional. Only converts signal from DP to HDMI)
The gold-plated conductors resist corrosion and increase connectivity. The inner braided foil shielding reduces interference and improves signal quality
Supports resolutions up to 4K x 2K, and flawless audio pass-thru for uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2 channels
The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

Trying to connect a NVIDIA P2000 to a Benq 1440p panel.Using DP both ends the display wasn”t reporting the resolution correctly to some Apps and scaling. Resulting in colour fuzzy edges. As HDMI is generally better at this (although very similar) I tried this cable. Brilliant it works.

Product shipped in no time and the both ends are seemingly good quality. The DisplayPort end clicks well for connectivity.

After purchasing a new graphics card that only had 1 hdmi and 3 displayport connections I need something to allow my two monitors that lacked Displayport connections. This worked great for my second monitor and I cannot tell any difference in quality from using my standard hdmi cable or this adapter.Definitely a great purchase and fulfilled my needs completely.

Would not work for hdmi laptop to displayport monitor. Only works the opposite way. Returned item. Nice product however.

Got a new graphics card and it only had 1 hdmi port. I use a TV and a gaming monitor for dual display. The hdmi cable I put to the TV and this adapter I used from PC to monitor and it works just as expected.

Finally managed to get my tv running 2k/4k however it only runs at 30hz making it useless for me.. 1080 hits 60hz tho if this is needed. Might need to invest in a HDMI 2b cable in the hope it fixes the frame rate issue
