Microsoft can’t get their crap together after years. Every time I’d go to turn my side monitors off so they’re not keeping me awake all night (my computer can’t sleep the monitors due to G-sync). it would rearrange all the windows that I had open on the only other DP monitor aside from my main one. This has been an ongoing issue for years. with no way to disable it that doesn’t get patched in an update. What a “feature” that is..Anyway. if you don’t like autodetect on DP but you do like to be able to conveniently turn off your display. then this will solve your woes as long as you can still use an HDMI port.
