I got this for my mom and she likes it. She really likes the rose gold colour and the magnet opening is convenient.

I’ve been using an Apple Smart Cover on my iPad Air 2. I just picked up an iPad Pro 10.5 and needed a stand for it. Unlike the Smart Cover this is a case with a piece that covers the entire back of the iPad if you hadn’t noticed. So far for my purposes this is a more reliable solution. Its not that I needed the protection on the back but it holds the cover on firmly and won’t easily pop off like the magnetic attachment of the Smart Cover.Longevity of the hinge is my only concern at this point. I will update the review should I encounter any problem with that in the future. The back snaps on firmly but its not difficult to get the iPad out of the case if needed. On the other hand I believe if you dropped it on a hard surface with the cover open the iPad would fall out. This isn’t a rugged use case if that’s what you are after. The openings for the buttons sockets and speakers are generous and aligned as expected. Overall the fit and finish is great. If I had to mention a minus I wished the screen were just a little more vertical. Its tilted a tad too far back for my uses. However its fine and totally usable as it is and I can stick something between the back of the iPad and cover to reduce the pitch when necessary such as when video conferencing and don’t want people looking up my nose.
