      It’s just fine for your desk. which why would you need two. it’s not really a need but one with a dedicated pencil holder if you have one might be better for moving and then if you need to sanitize it you have this spare one. If you don’t need the holder it’s even better.

      I discovered that all electronic devices with touch screens need protection from dropping on a hard surface. I dropped my phone several times (it was encased in rubber) with no damage at all. But the time I dropped my company phone from the driver seat through the open door to the concrete was a display shattering experience which I had to pay for. I think it is even more likely that the IPad could be dropped and damaged. However. it might not be enough protection if it is left on the floor and is accidentally stepped on. which my young nephew did to two different IPads before us adults decided he was too young for such an expensive device.
