    Great unit to get a rough idea of temperature. Not tested against a calibrated unit but is pretty close to boiling water and therefore good enough to be confident that it is within 5 degrees C.Added bonus is our dog loves chasing the laser dot around the floor. Every time I measure the temperature of our wood burner she wants to play.

    works as described.had a little issue when i received the first one : laser light was not working but the seller did send a new one which works perfectly.
