    Works as intended. Just gives you a general idea of how hot or cold of what you’re measuring it with. It’s good on just about everything you can shoot it at except shiny parts 😀 Very satisfied on the value and functionality of the device.

    I bought it for my son to check his lizards tank temps. Then I started walking around the house looking for cool spots..A little addictive.

    I got this thermometer to check for cold spots around doors and windows. A thermal imaging camera was top of my list. but the price was a little high. This thermometer does the job just as well and gets used all the time. The instructions say it’s not for human use. Probably because it’s a laser. I can confirm it recorded my skin temperature at 90.1F and that sounds about right.
