      HDMI cables can be a headache because they often do not work and it can be hard to determine the source of the problem. I have learned not to trust these cables because they may work fine on one device but not on another. These cables worked out of the box replacing two other cables that were glitschy with this device (dvr) but fine with the dvd player.
