The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort (DP / DP ) equipped laptop or desktop to a monitor or projector with DVI input. (Note: NOT bi-directional, only transmits from DP to DVI)
Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and improve the signal transmission. The braided foil shielding reduces interference, and bare copper conductors enhance transmission performance
Supports video resolutions up to 1920×1200 / 1080P (Full HD)
The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector
Suitable for Extended Desktop or Mirrored Displays. Customer service from Rankie

Probably the easiest to use DP to DVI I own. The DP side has a little button that releases it from the port. and prevents it from getting yanked out otherwise. The screws on the DVI side are super easy to use. and don’t hurt your fingers at all (a disappointingly rare quality)

A straight forward cable that solved my finicky adapter in the middle problem. I am satisfied for this..I do not however like the following:.- each end of the cable has effectively a throw away (not recyclable) packaging end protector.- two (not recyclable) twist ties are holding the cable together (which the bag would already do).- the (not recyclable) bag is overly heavy duty (protection plus I guess).- the bag is then wrapped in HUGE (twice the size needed) packaging (at least is is paper).Again the product I paid for works. but we should all consider packaging (garbage) and encourage all vendors to take a positive stand. Thank you in advance!

Recently got a new graphics card that didn’t have a DVI port. plugged this in and am able to use my second monitor at 1080p 60hz no problem. Not sure if it is able to go higher than that in terms of hz though. So check for yourself.
