Regardless of the other reviews. people complaining about the blue screen. or dark screen. or screws that don’t screw in ( lefty loosey. righty tighty ) and you are likely missing the screw in part from your laptop or monitor. look on your old cable for it. remove it and put it back in your computer or monitor. it will be stuck on the screw. also does sell them just search “5+7mm Header Plate Bracket Stud Bolt” the VGA signal that comes from your computer goes into this cable and comes out the other end and into your monitor. it works great on a older dell servers and HP monitors. It’s been running 24/7 for two months without a single issue and it should last for years like that.

This item arrived intact. looked a quality-made product. I bought this as back-up should the adapter DisplayPort to HDMI would not work. . . . it worked. And so. I am keeping this VGA for future need.
