The male and female ends feel pretty study and are sizeable enough so you don’t have to yank the cable connecting and disconnecting. The cable itself is around 5mm thick and doesn’t feel flimsy I’d be surprised if it didn’t last a good few years.

Good adapter the connectors are sturdy and reliable. Picture quality is good. And 4K works fine.

Works great. Originally I had a regular mini Display port to HDMI adaptor that was NOT 4k ready. Connecting a 13 MacBook air (2017) to a LG 29 UltraWide monitor (29WK600-W) worked but wasn’t able to use the recommended 2560×1080 resolution (without some software or plug-in hack). Latest Mac update made the plug-in useless afterwards. Found out that I needed a 4k ready adaptor which fixed the problem immediately (without any additional setup). Would definitely recommend if you have a similar setup.

I have a Dell display with an HDMI input and I support laptops with a myriad of digital video connectors. Two have HDMI one has DisplayPort and one still has the mini-DP connector. My laptop recognized the new connection though I had to change the display mode to extend the desktop from the default of duplicating it.

Not much to say worked fine with my HP laptop running Windows 7 Pro.
