    These work perfectly to catch all the small bits that had been going down the drain. Just make sure to wash or put in the dishwasher periodically so the underside doesn’t get yukky.

    After having a plumber clear up a back-up in our pipes and clean out our drains from residue that has built up over the years by the house’s previous owner. I am determined to keep everything as clean as possible. I have used the mesh type of sink strainers. and they have two main problems: They slip around so much. and the narrow edges don’t lay flat enough. that things like carrot peels and small food scraps get past them. Also. they are hard to empty. Things just plain stick to those screens. These strainers look great. stay in place. catch everything. and are very easy to empty. Love them!
