      I purchased this after I bought a new computer and realized I had no way to connect my hdmi monitor to the new computer. Dell customer service rep recommended I got this. I plugged it in and it worked perfectly immediately. I priced this out in the big box store prior to purchasing his on and they wanted 4x the amount for the same cord

      My monitor doesn’t have a Displayport but my computer does. I didn’t want to buy an adapter figured a dedicated cable would be better. Can’t speak to durability as I just bought it but the picture quality looks the same to me as the HDMI output.

      Purchased expensive Insignia cables at BestBuy (needed 2 for dual monitors) and it just hurt to pay $40 per cable. When these arrived I plugged in the first cable while leaving the other Insignia cable in the 2nd monitor and there was no difference. Very happy with purchase!!!
