      Item came well packaged and Display port end of adaptor was protected in a plastic sheath. Tested with HP Elitebook laptop into an older Sony 1080P TV and it works like a dream. Now pride of place in my laptop bag for those occasions when a presentation is required and the facility only has HDMI display device. Am not in a position to test the 4K compatibility but and sure it will be ok. Buy in confidence.
