I had to get this when I bought a new Mac laptop which only has the USB C…… New technology is getting smaller and new USB connector changed too… And more expenses for us consumers… 🙁

These things work better than other alternatives I’ve been sold at a local bookstore. They work with bluetooth adapters hard drive cables and flash drives. They’ve lasted for about 6 months now and are still going strong. The compact size makes it possible to connect two side by side on a macbook pro 15". I hate the dongle era for these new high end machines by apple but I am glad that I found a nice 3rd party adapter that works.
