Tough metal not plastics perfect but initially took a LOT of force to plug in & into. I failed to realise how much room it takes 4 or 5 inches which is a problem for me not the items fault. I”m sure I”m not alone so will try to find one with right angled short wire & socket.

These adapters works well. If there is only one criticism is that you have to push much harder to seat them flush in the USB C slots. Yet once connected properly they work perfectly fine.

When I purchased my Microsoft Surface Go I didn”t realize that it had a USB-C expansion slot. I thought it had the micro-USB–for which I had the appropriate adapter to use my flash drives. Since I keep my writing and personal journal files on a secured flash drive I had to buy these USB-C adapters. So far they are proving very useful.
