These work well with my new laptop to convert to USB port. They stick out further than I expected but function well.

They appear to be good quality adapters. I only use them on occasion to transfer pictures to thumb drives and it works good for that purpose. It”s also small enough to easily fit I your pocket or even keep it on the item you use it with the most.
