I wasn’t told when I purchased my chromebook that it didn’t have a regular USB port. This converter allows me to use my mouse (which I am lost without). Easy to install.

The product appears to be well manufactured and as an adapter is easy to use. My application of the product is with my iMac desktop computer. These adapters enable me to use the Thunderbolt ports in conjunction with USB 3.0 devices. At this point I am unable to rate durability because I have just begun using these adapters but I have every expectation they will perform flawlessly.

I bought these specifically to use with USB flash drives. So far it’s worked great. I did not clock transfer speeds from my phone’s internal memory to the USB but I found it to be more than fast enough – and probably faster than I would have guessed. I’ve also used it to transfer files from my phone’s SD card to a USB drive and once again though I didn’t clock the speed I found that the result was very reasonable. So all in all and especially in light of the reasonable price point I can highly recommend these adapters.

Both fit together side by side on my 2 usb c ports on my mac laptop 2018 with touchbar which was exciting (yes I was pretty happy about it)! Working as expected.

I ordered them for my MacBook Pro 2018 with touchbar and i noticed that they do fit a little snug as you have to push them in and listen for a snap. At first it kind of worried me that I was breaking something but I read the reviews and found that that is just the way they were designed. Other than that they work perfectly and I would definitly order again in the future and i recommend them to anyone needed a dongle without paying the ridiculous prices that Apple charges.
