      Used from my MacBook Air (mid 2012) to a 2013 Monitor via DVI and works perfectly from the Thunderbolt output (mini Display Port). No screen adjustment needed monitor adjusted perfectly automatically. Good choice for the price point.

      Just upgraded my home workstation and it came with an NVidia P2000 card which only has 4x mini-dv ports. It was almost embarrassing to put a 17″ LCD monitor on such a big card but this cable allowed me to continue using it as an alternate monitor with my other 27″ monitors. Thanks Rankie US your product description allowed me to get exactly what I needed (and thanks for next day delivery!).

      I tried to connect my wife Surface Docking station to a new 1080 monitor with a Mini Display Port to HDMI Display Adapter Cable but it did not work. Luckily I had also bought this Display Port (Mini DP) to DVI Cable which happened to work right away. The Surface however does not output a sharp image to the monitor as the characters from Office documents ie Word or Excel show a shadow on the characters on all cables I tried directly or through the docking station. I recommend the cable however about the Surface and docking station I am disappointed.
