I am using this adaptor with a Surface Pro 3. It works find with a 4K TV. However. it cannot drive a Philips ultra-wide monitor at 3440×1440; it can only drive it at 2560×1080. hence deduction of 1 star. I have another mini-dp to dp cable and that one can drive my monitor @3440×1440 no problem.
