    These are perfect. They keep out all small pieces of food. I have had them a month and they still look as good as the day I received them. Even if they were to begin to rust after 6 months (which I have no evidence they will ) I have one extra because the set came with 3. Also at this price if I had to order once or twice a year- would totally be worth it.

    Had to have a plumber fix a severe clog. This was due to food particles from the disposal and slipping through the old drain stopper. Took out the disposal and are now using these HELECT sink strainers. they are great. Good quality and easy to clean. The holes are the perfect size to catch debris and let the water drain nicely.

    I use it to keep utensils from falling into the garbage disposal – it does a good job about capturing solids. Just be ready to dig your hand into a sink puddle to lift the strainer if enough solids get on the mesh.
