Interesting texture on this one. Not real grippy. but not slick. either. I put it on the arm of my sofa and after three or four minutes it creeps along and falls off the edge. like it has a mind of its own. I like it because it is really minimal but does a good job of protecting the phone. including a tiny raised lip around the screen..After a couple of years the rubber coating started to come off as I was picking at the edge.

When I received the product it was damaged and I asked for a return authorization and replacement with an undamaged item; I received the authorization to return the case. but to my surprise and delight. I received the replacement the following morning. even before I made the return (and it was in perfect condition).

This case is pretty good for the price. just keep in mind that after about a year it will start breaking down. Mine is a little over a year old now and due for a replacement; the edges are fraying and starting to fall off bit by bit.
