      I end up being the source for electronic items for my grandkids since I am an electronic tech. My grandson needed to interface his desktop computer with a monitor but the monitor only had a DVI connection. I was going to order a DVI cable but went this route. Worked like a champ and he was very happy. which is my goal as a papa.

      the picture was not clear to me and i thought i was ordering a scart to hdmi i was wrong but take it as my own fault

      Works for me. I have a new monitor with hdmi input only. but i use DVI output. I used these and they work perfectly.

      I use it on an old monitor where there is no HDMI input.

      Perfect solution for connecting old Samsung monitor with DVI port to a new laptop with HDMI port. Attached the adaptor to the monitor and used one out of many HDMI cables I have. The only inconvenience is threaded pins design – they are too thin and don’t have a slot for screwdriver on the edge. Makes it really hard to connect the adaptor in case you have little space around it.
