I use this converter to run an Electrohome Marquee 8000 projector vintage 1994. That is a big CRT projector with extraordinary optics that makes modern LED/DLP/ETC projectors look like peeking through a screen door at a 19″ black and white TV. Oh. you run one of these modern projectors? My condolences. But I digress. This cheap little dongle outperforms the specialized HD Fury that it replaced…and it works better. I run a 5 BNC cable off the DVI side. Thank you to the geniuses who manufactured this little miracle.

We had an older monitor that did not have an HDMI plug. We wanted to use it for our child’s computer since we needed to create a work station for at-home. remote schooling. This worked great. It saved us the expense of buying another monitor. I can’t comment on video quality. Like I said. we have an older monitor so we were not expecting the same quality that you might expect from products on the market in 2021.
