      I purchased this for an Oculus Rift party to output a 2nd PC signal to my 4k OLED TV which only supports HDMI. My video card only has one HDMI output which was already occupied by the Oculus Rift. This DP to HDMI cable was a simple plug and play from an available DP port on my video card. It was instantly recognized by the PC and TV and had no issues displaying a 4k signal on the TV. This allowed everyone to watch while someone was simultaneously using the Rift.
