      This was cheaper than the local home office supply store it works perfectly and it was worth the wait to get it!

      It plugs into the display port on my HP laptop and allows me to connect a standard HDMI cable to it. I bought it for work since all our conference rooms have big TV”s instead of projectors. A lot of newer laptops already have a built-in HDMI port but for those of us with older models this adapter is necessary and works great for my needs.
