      I”ve purchased two of these so far one about a year ago and another recently after a video card upgrade. I only use them for 1080p displays currectnly so I cannot comment on anything above that resolution but it was as simple as plug and play for my setup.

      Converts a DisplayPort output to HDMI as intended. Just don”t expect it to work in reverse.For build quality it gets the job done. Just a star off build quality for using glossy black plastic.
