   This cable replaces my original ipod charging cable the jacket of which had begun to shred. This new cable works well the only small issue is that it did not come marked so that I know which side is up when insetting into my iPod. I simply grabbed a sharpie and labeled the up side.

    I just plugged it in to do this review. Works right now as supposed to. My only thing is there is no orientation icon on part that connects to iPad. I will mark with a pen. You can see a difference in the port for orientation but eyesight is going so easier to mark. If manufacturer put an icon that would be cool.
