      This review is for JETech Case for Fire HD 8 Tablet..I purchased my Fire HD 8 Tablet in 2016 and it is still going strong after 5 years; however. the leather-bound case I purchased at the same time was getting a bit ratty and needed replacement..This JETech case arrived next day and as advertised. It is a perfect fit for my 2016 Fire HD 8 Tablet with cut-outs for connectors. controls. camera and speakers..Unlike my previous. soft case. this has a hard-shell plastic back cover into which the tablet slips for a firm grip. The front cover has a magnetic latch to keep it closed and also folds neatly to double as a stand with two positions (typing and viewing). The sleep/wake function on the tablet is activated on closing/opening the cover..I am very satisfied with this purchase and I am confident that my Fire HD8 tablet is well-protected for more years of service.
