This item gives your phone’s backside basic protection. It is thin which is a good thing if you don’t want bulk. But you do not get any protection for the front– that surface reamins totally open. This means that you CAN drop it on any level surface and you’ll be OK but if you drop it on a rock for example AND face down you’re on your own. You have to weigh the chances of that happening against the very reasonable price and I for one am pleased with my purchase.

I haven’t really been able to use this case because the Samsung Galaxy S 7 has not yet arrived. However based on the questions you asked I am very certain that the case will perform as I indicated. I am VERY excited that it contains carbon fiber which will afford VERY durable and sturdy.

Cover came as described and very pleased except one thing the case seems to be a little slippery as I try to hold it just a little afraid Its going to slip out of my hand. I think if the sides were a little softer rubber I could grip it better.

When I broke my phone I knew I should have use a shock proof case. But as other people do I didn’t feel the need for a bulky phone so.. now is too late.People if you buy a couple hundreds $ phones that are slim and slippery buy a case for the phone it will be cheaper than to replace a broken glass back cover. Yes the looks and the feels of the mobile will change but at least the phone will survive.Now back to this case I was looking for a Spigen and I’ve seen this one. Never heard of this brand before but it’s very well made it feels good holding it and it looks good with those carbon insertions on top and bottom and sides. But .. if you have oily skin it will be a fingerprint magnet. So if you are a on a budget and can live with some finger marks on the case it’s a very good case but if you can afford a more expensive one than maybe you should go for that one.

I love the sleek simple look! Way lighter then my last case. It has a nice grip good coverage isn’t bulky and looks good.
