The low-profile connector does not block adjacent ports. The ergonomic tread is easy to plug and unplug

No problems displaying in 2k or 4k with my Surface Book + Dock. My only tiny little complaint was the HDMI plug encasing is a bit thicker which makes it harder to fit in if connecting with other plugs close to it. So I had to put this one first and then try to squeeze the others in around it. Got them in thankfully or I’d have had to return. Be wary if you have tight spots to plug in the HDMI side.
