I have not tested the water resistance yet! MacBook fit nicely into the sleeve and is well cushioned. I can manage to fit the wire and plug and a mouse into the pocket on the side and zips up fully without resistance. the material inside the sleeve is very soft feels like sherpa fleece. I’m confident that this will protect the Mac. the zips seem sturdy and glide easy when opening and closing. I probably wouldn’t trust this item as being ‘waterproof’ I would be confident of it being splash and drip resistant at most.

I’ve had this case for several weeks now. I use it to transport my 15 inch portable monitor. The case fits perfectly with my monitor. I’m quite confident in when traveling that the monitor is safe and protected. I haven’t tried it with a laptop but for a portable monitor. i highly recommend this product.
