I did not expect much from the case but was surprised of how sturdy it is. The back is a hard clear plastic not like a soft TPU material like other case. The edge protector is of soft TPU material making it easy for you to slide your phone in. It snuggly fits all around the phone while having raised edge around the front (to protect the front glass) and around the camera opening in back. Very good case for the money
