Love this case. very durable material yes soft and comfortable. The stand works perfectly for what I need and it does not slip or slide at all. I have gone through four or five cases and this is by far the best one I have ever used.

While it is hard to rate durability until more time has passed. this iPad is sturdy. I expect to use it it’s long time. Mine is black and looks very classy. The wake function on opening it works well.
