Edit: Something else was causing me a problem this cable seems just fine/plug”n”play/great price. Disregard the following but I”ll leave it in case someone else has something similar and blames the cable like I did :)**Original inaccurate review**Hooked it up from my new laptop to an older monitor. Worked great. Two days later when I turned on my system monitor was just a black screen and laptop couldn”t recognize it no matter what I did. Returned and ordered a different brand.
