I have an HP desktop that came with two DVI ports and no HDMI or VGA port which meant I would have to buy a new monitor. Looking on I found this adapter that fit the DVI on computer and HDMI to connect to my existing monitor. Images are sharp and for under $20 I am able to use the computer that sat in the box for months. I recommend when purchasing one to be specific about which end is at the computer and which end you need for the monitor. I previously bought one that was not bi-directional and would not work with my monitor.

I use this for PS4 to a slightly older model monitor. Works great.

I needed to connect an old monitor to a newer computer. Wasn’t sure what to get. but this works fine. Good video and sound quality.

I currently own a Microsoft Surface laptop 2 and I have used the Lention device to connect one monitor through HDMI and the other monitor through VGA. When the VGA to VGA is plugged in it all works fine until I plug the HDMI into the Lention device the VGA turns off the monitor and the HDMI seems to work ONLY..So I have tried the alternative. I disconnected the VGA and I connect DVI to HDMI and connect the other monitor using HDMI to HDMI which works however. I am unable to extend onto 2 displays at the same time. it will only mirror the 2 screens as extended displays..Any suggestions here please?
