The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

Great and simple hybrid connector without any issues whatsoever. Do note that this connects to your monitor”s HDMI port and external device”s display port not the other way around.

Good cable. Works for connecting displayport device output to hdmi screen (but not for hdmi device output to dvi screen in case anyone was wondering)

My graphics card only has 1 hdmi out but several DP. Wanted to connect to multiple monitors all of which only have hdmi. These leads have solved that problem. Nicely packaged they feel like a quality product and do exactly what they are supposed to. What’s not to like.
