I purchased this to use with a second monitor that I was briefly using as my graphics card didn’t have a second HDMI port and I had no converter for DVI..Firstly I want to clarify that this is only for doing Display Port TO HDMI. not the other way around. I’ve seen some reviews which seem to think that this product works both ways but it doesn’t. it ONLY does Display Port to HDMI..With that out of the way. the cable works fine and was a decent length. it came well packaged and had covers over both ends of the cable to stop dust from getting into the connectors..I only ended up using the cable for around an hour as I soon realised the dual monitor setup wasn’t to my liking and it was at this point that I noticed that the HDMI side of the cable was quite warm when I came to unplug it from the TV I was using a second screen. now this could have been the TVs doing but I had used it for years without issue like that so I would be more inclined to believe it was the cable at fault. the Display Port side of the cable was fine however..Overall for the price I would recommend this cable however I would be wary about how warm it got (it may have been a bad cable that I got but I can’t test this)
