This case works pretty well on our Fire HD 8. It;s a little sloppier (if that makes sense) for our HD 10. My only complaint is that sometimes the magnets are too strong or something and it shuts my tablet off even when opened and the cover is on the back. Still for the price pretty hard to beat.

I purchased the JETech Case for my new Fire HD 8 with Alexa Tablet (8th Generation-2018). The case provides very good protection for the front and back of the tablet. There are two modes: viewing and typing (landscape only). I use the typing mode for viewing and scrolling most of the time. I use the viewing mode for hands-free operation with Alexa. The sleep mode is enabled when the front cover is on the screen. I purposely left the tablet on and in sleep mode overnight to test the battery there was no battery usage at all. The purchase price of $9.98 is a real bargain that includes a lifetime warranty after product registration. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 that is sporting a Samsung case that retailed for $49.99. I purchased that case after receiving a 50% discount coupon from Samsung. I will definitely consider purchasing the JETech cases in the future!

The case looks great on my Fire HD 8 it’s slim and sturdy and has magnets to help it stayed closed. If you’re looking for something slim and thin I would recommend.

JETech Case for my Fire HD 8 arrived on time fits like a glove and protects my fire. When I open the top (like turning a page) the Fire turns on and when I close the lid the Fire turns off. The lid or top can be used to prop the Fire to watch movies read or surf the net. Great price and feels durable.
